		abstract={The Saumata Suites Apartment building which is still under construction has a main electricity supply from PLN of 20 kV, where in this building there are emergency loads that must continue to operate in the event of a blackout from PLN, therefore backup power is needed from Emergency Diesel Generators. The Emergency Diesel Generator functions as the main back-up system in the event of a blackout in order to keep emergency loads receiving a voltage supply. By using descriptive quantitative method, from the data obtained the total load of this building is 2008.48896 kW, while the results of the calculation get the capacity for the Emergency Diesel Generator used of 1000 kVA, this is able to bear the total emergency load to be supplied of 808.04496 kW.}
