So far, there are still many areas that do not have electricity and still use diesel power plants (PLTD) as a supplier of electrical energy to users. The cause of the high cost of production is the high cost of fuel oil (BBM) and the high cost of spare parts. One approach that can be taken is to utilize local energy sources and renewable energy. The research was conducted by taking samples at Graha Taman Bunga, BSB Housing, Semarang City, Central Java. In this design, Homer Pro software is used to determine the optimization configuration of the renewable energy system design from an economic point of view. The results of the simulation design of the system configuration model are: the configuration of the Hybrid Power Plant system between solar and wind with a total production capacity of 775,379 kWh/year with an NPC value of US$ 1,046,775.59 or equivalent to Rp. 14,940,942,000, - with a COE price of US$ $0.1585 or equivalent to Rp.2.298,-. The simulation results also show that the system configuration that uses components of solar panel and wind turbins in one Hybrid Power Plant system will be able to reduce the cost of production of existingepower plants and be able to quickly return economic value such as the initial investment.} }
