If the insulator is in good condition, then the dielectric strength value is high, so the insulation resistance is good. If the dielectric is weak, it will result in leakage current and failure which is characterized by the appearance of lightning power to breakdown voltage. To determine the factors that affect the weakness of the dielectric strength of the polymer silicon rubber insulator, a study was conducted with the breakdown voltage test method to determine the maximum voltage that can be accepted by the insulator and the resistance method to determine the value of the leakage current by setting a voltage of 40 kV for 2 minutes. The test was carried out with the effect of the variable exposure to ultraviolet radiation on the insulator for 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, 4 days, and 5 days. The next variables were leaf and charcoal burning smoke of 170 ppm, 200 ppm, 250 ppm, 300 ppm, and 430 ppm, then the motor smoke variable was 673 ppm, 730 ppm, 750 ppm, 780 ppm, and 794 pm. The next variable uses pollutant deposits with a thickness of 0.1 cm, 0.2 m, and 0.3 cm. From the three variables above, the results of the breakdown voltage value while the leakage current increases.} }
