Disturbance of the motor during operation due to damage can cause large losses or damage. The Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) method is an online method of detecting electric motor damage, where the motor is still in working condition. The research was conducted by applying MCSA to the motor radiator unit 2 PLTD Ampenan. If the radiator motor is disturbed during operation, it will result in losses of up to millions of dollars due to other PLTD equipment being damaged. Testing with the MCSA method to determine the damage to the motor rotor rods. Measurement by taking AC voltage and current data on the three-phase motor input cable using a clam-on current probe on the radiator panel. The time domain data is transformed into a frequency spectrum. The magnitude of the sideband frequency that appears is calculated and using the Rotor Bar Damage Level Severity Table, an indication of the level of damage is obtained. Taking measurements regularly can be done trending the development of the severity of motor damage which can be used as input for Predictive Maintenance. The results showed that the magnitude on the lower sideband was -50,843dB which indicated that there was damage to the rotor level C:3 according to the rotor bar damage level severity table. When the motor is dismantled during the scheduled shutdown, there is damage to the motor rotor bar in accordance with the indications from the MCSA} }
