In general, hot spots can occur due to 3 (three) things, namely, the influence of load changes, the lack of clamps attached to the equipment after maintenance, and it can also be caused by the resistance of the equipment conductors. Based on quantitative data from research results and simple linear regression analysis, it is found that the load current only affects the temperature changes by 0.9% so that 99.1% can be said come from other variables. The losses obtained when the temperature increases at DS with a temperature difference ( ?T ) of 28.5? have reached 14.124% so that actions are needed depending on the cause of the hotspot such as cleaning clamps using sandpaper or wire brush, tightening bolts the connector uses a torque wrench, even up to DS and DS parts are replaced. To avoid more fatal possibility, it is necessary to plan further actions that are in accordance with the provisions by looking at the temperature comparison (?T) then drawing conclusions from the results of the examination to determining follow-up recommendations according to SKDIR 520} }
