		abstract={The number of internet users is increasing. So, the internet service provider ensures a stable network quality. One of the internet service providers is PT. Telkom Indonesia maintains its quality by maintaining attenuation not more than the specified value, namely -14 dBm to -23 dBm. In getting the attenuation value, it is necessary to calculate the link budget. In this study, a link budget calculation will be carried out in the Puri Rantau Prapat housing estate using the parameter values obtained from the specifications of the equipment used. The results obtained for the new Puri Kampung housing area provided by PT Telkom Indonesia are worth -17.414 dBm/km for uplink and -17.086 dBm/km for downlink.
