One of the factors that influence the success of chicken farming is feed, nurseries and livestock cage facilities and infrastructure. Innovations in the livestock sector are needed to increase the productivity of livestock, including the chicken farming sector. Chicken production, both eggs and pieces is still very minimal. Breeders still use conventional technology. If the farm has a large number of chickens and cages, problems will arise such as feeding requires a lot of time. So PLC and stepper motors are used for several other components to make an automation device for animal feed. PLC is an electronic device that functions as a controller and supervision of the work of a machine and is connected to a stepper motor which is a DC motor that has a rotating motion based on step by step and a photoelectric sensor which is a light sensor by detecting objects in front of it. The research is carried out by describing the state of the object being observed systematically and designing the object of research so that it can conclude the information obtained from the results of the design. After being assembled, the test results were obtained at 200 microstep, 400 microstep and 800 microstep with the average gram/step ratio 0.29583, 0.13814, and 0.07229. From these results, the smaller the number obtained, the more precise the stepper motor will be.} }
