		abstract={Banjarbaru City is one of the cities in the province of South Kalimantan. Banjarbaru was an administrative city that was divided from Banjar Regency. In the entertainment sector and the tourism sector, Banjarbaru is one of the tourist destination cities for domestic and foreign tourists. For every tourist who is new to the Banjarbaru area, it is considered very difficult to get information and data about tourist locations that you want to visit. The solution provided is to build a virtual guide application on a smartphone that is embedded in augmented reality technology so that every traveler can receive information anywhere and anytime. The author in building tourist planning travel applications using the Java language and PHP. The purpose of making the Banjarbaru Tour Guide application can help tourists in providing tourist information through augmented reality visualization and maximizing the time to search for tourist sites when visiting Banjarbaru and the reach of tourism promotion is becoming more widespread with the help of applications that can be downloaded by prospective tourists from outside Banjarbaru. From the results of testing on ten respondents using the user acceptance test, it was found that the application can facilitate tourists to find out the location and obtain tourist attraction information.}
