		abstract={The decision support system using the fuzzy Tahani method aims to make it easier for tourists who will visit Samosir district to provide recommendations for tourist objects that match the selected criteria. Previously, tourists who would visit Samosir district chose tourist objects to be visited by looking for good information through brochures obtained from inns, airports, information centers, and information from websites. Often times it does not match the desired criteria, when visited by tourists and the process of obtaining information that matches the tourist criteria, it will certainly take time. To overcome some of these problems, the design of a decision support system application for tourism object selection using the fuzzy Tahani method is expected to provide the best recommendations according to the criteria chosen by tourists. This study, the authors use a decision support system with the fuzzy Tahani method, for application design using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and application testing using the International for Standardization (ISO) 9126. From the research results it can be concluded that the application of a decision support system using the fuzzy Tahani method can help tourists who will visit Samosir district in providing recommendations for tourist objects that match the selected criteria}
