		abstract={Bagian Layanan Karir dan Alumni (BLKA) Institut Teknologi PLN able to become a training center as well as a media link between the college and its alumni. Of course, with this system, various information from alumni such as alumni domicile information, and so on can be shared easily to other institutions and alumni. In addition, an important function of the tracer study system is the feedback provided by alumni for the purpose of evaluating management's achievements to the learning process. This research uses BLKA IT-PLN tracer study data to classify and predict categories of work suitability based on Competencies in Disciplines, Computer Skills, Research Skills, Communication Skills, Working Under Pressure, Time Management, TeamWork, Analytical Ability, Leadership and Project Management that he had during his studies at IT-PLN with the C4.5 Algorithm as training data. Test results with 143 data testing and 1430 data training data resulted in 54.55% accuracy validation with confusion matrix method and 72.03% on Rapidminer application, while accuracy validation testing on application implementation made by this study was 48.65%. It can be concluded that the data tested in this study can be used as an evaluation of the competency improvement of IT-PLN students in the future by categorizing the suitability of the field of work to be very close, quite close and not closely.}
