The research location is PT PLN UP2B SUMBAGUT. This expert system uses inference engine with forward chaining technique to trace the symptoms and treatment of power line carrier damage from predetermined rules and uses the certainty factor method to get a value of the percentage of certainty for a diagnosis (damage). The results of this study are web-based applications and tested using 2 testing methods, namely from the researchers themselves using the black box method and for users using User Acceptance (UAT). The result of the accuracy of the average percentage of UAT was 87.6% and the results of the consultation trial were diagnosed with a "CC problem" damage with a CF value of 90.8%.} }
