The existing obstacle is the exam preparation and the implementation of the system still work manually so it is considered ineffective. In addition, the randomization of the questions that is not optimal will allow the participants to cheat. In this Study, the problem is how the questions can be optimally randomized and create a computerized exam system. The application of Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) method is used to randomize questions, by inputting several constants such as a (multiplier), c (increment) and m (modulus) according to the rules of LCG so that the randomization of the questions will optimally work to minimize the chance of the participants to cheat. Furthermore, to test the randomness of LCG method, this Study uses a sample randomness test, namely Runs Test, with the rejection or the acceptance output of a hypothesis in order to determine whether a sample is random or not.
