		abstract={Insurance is one way to protect yourself in the future. At present, insurance companies are racing to offer promising insurance products. At PT Asuransi Jiwasraya in order to compete with other competitors in offering insurance products, Jiwasraya improves the quality of its services with information technology. So at this time, Jiwasraya requires a system of recommending the selection of insurance products due to existing recommendations that are still conventional in nature which results in the length of time in determining a product and frequent misunderstandings between the agency section and prospective customers in terms of user needs and other interests such as marketing. In this study, an application system was built that can provide insurance product recommendations to prospective customers appropriately using Naiva Bayes classification method. Naïve Bayes is a classification with probability and statistical methods to predict future opportunities based on pastexperience. The development of the system uses the CRISP-DM method so that the work becomes more ordered and testing is done with the blackbox method to test every function that is in the application being built. The trial results show that the naïve bayes method is able to classify records with the highest accuracy rate of 83.18%. Because the system performance produced can be said to be good, the system can be said to be credible for recommending insurance products to prospective customers.}
