		abstract={The concept of today's computer-based decision-making support system is growing rapidly. In the process of decision making there are many criteria and also many methods to be used. The problem is how to determine the criterias
and what method is appropriate to support the decision making process. One of the ways that can be used in the decision making process is the TOPSIS (Techique Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solutions) method. This is
because the TOPSIS method has a simple concept, easy to understand, its computation is efficient and has the ability to measure the relative performance of alternative decisions in the form of simple mathematically. Therefore, this
research was made by applying the TOPSIS method in determining the students who attended PJB Class in the application determination PJB Class of electrical Department in SMK Brantas Karangkates. The criteria used are interest, remidial chart, degree rating of the majors, attendance, personality values, physical and health tests and interviews. The results of this application are expected to help
the head of the majors in the determination of the students who will enter the PJB Class in the form of the TOPSIS method.}
