		abstract={Many violations of the electricity consumption that occurred in the community causes many reports of violations. There are 4 types of violations on the electricity consumption that are regulated by PT. PLN. The types are type of violations P1, type of violations P2, type of violations P3 and the type of violations P4. The staff having difficulty to classifying the violations that occur to 4 types of violations. Therefore this
research is made to classify the violation that belong to the 4 types of violation. The research uses K-Nearest Neighbour algorithm with a similarity of text approach using
Cosine Similarity. Before classification is done the data will go through the text preprocessing stage. Based on the result test of 200 data, the test get an accuration value of 47% with Confusion Matrix Method. Ther result from this study is to determine the result of the classification based on BAP form P2TL officer for the level or type of violation on customer of PT. PLN Area Cengkareng.}
