		abstract={This research was conducted to make it easier for the people of Madiun Regency Government to make complaints. The complaints process is carried out using a chatbot that can classify types of complaints. The methods applied to build this chatbot are text preprocessing, Latent Semantic Indexing, and cosine similarity. Text preprocessing is used to prepare complaints before calculations are made using the Latent Semantic Indexing method. The Latent Semantic Indexing method is used to look for topics in a complaint. Through validation testing, with the existence of Latent Semantic Indexing in this public complaint chatbot, an accuracy value of 84.61% was produced}
