This disease have the highest number of sufferers and always increasing in each year. In Puskesmas Ngempit Pasuruan, the number of people with Diabetes Mellitus was ranked first. Hence,, the Puskesmas increasing the awareness about this Diabetes in the community. However, Puskesmas is not every time to intervene in the community while the Puskesmas only had 3 doctors who handled many other patients who had a higher importance than Diabetes, which made the Puskesmas unable facilitate the community. This study aims to design a web-based application of Diabetes Melitus early detection with HTML and PHP programming languages. The design of the application uses an expert system method that is forward chaining that traces the facts to a final decision. This application using the waterfall software development method and application design using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). After being tested with the black box method, the white box, and the accuracy test by the user through questionnaire, it was found that the accuracy rate of the results by the system was 75% and some people admitted that this application was efficient to cut the diagnostic time to less than 5 minutes.} }
