		abstract={At the Institute of Research and Community Service (LPPM) of the PLN Technical
College (STT-PLN), the process of examining the format of research report is still
carried out conventionally by checking one by one the format a research report
by the research department of LPPM STT-PLN, after being checked if there is
error, the research report is returned for revision and collection after revision, thus
taking a long time. The thesis aims to make a solution of these problems by
making an application examination format of research report, the programming
language used is Python and PHP and the methods applied are N-gram and
cosine similarity. N-gram is used to find a string that matches the format and
cosine similarity is used to get a matching value from the format of the research
report being examined. Based on test results from 8 research report data
conducted by comparing conventional examinations and with applications getting
100% accuracy probability values with examination times with applications faster
than conventional examinations.}
