		abstract={The college student hard to search the thesis reference based on scientific
field because in informatics engineering STT-PLN there is no thesis category, so
the list of exist thesis has not been categorized and not ordered. This study
discusses the classification of thesis based on scientific fields using the Naïve
Bayes Classifier (NBC) method. The used data in this study is the thesis abstract
of Informatics Engineering students in STT-PLN Jakarta. Which is to determine
abstract documents belong to certain categories using K-means clustering. The
function of clustering here is to group documents that are similar to each other.
The application of Naive Bayes Classifier method with text mining as an initial
data processing from the thesis type classification app based on scientific field,
could be conclude that this study produce the accuration from probability value
90 % and proved that Naive bayes method could be used for helping classify
thesis type based on scientific field.}
