Cathodic protection with anode (Sacrifical Anode) sacrifice method is one way to protect underground tissue pipes. Corrosion is a serious problem that results in loss in terms of financing. The main objective in this study was to recalculate the Sacrifical Anode protection system in gas pipelines based on the RP 0169-2002 NACE (National Association of Corrosion) Standard, Control of External Corrosion of Underground or Submerged Metallic Piping Systems. This system is tested on a 6 inch diameter steel pipe with a pipe length of 5562 m. The total current requirement used to protect underground network pipes with a length of 5562 m is 1,331 Ampere. The ideal amount of magnesium (Mg) sacrificial anode used was 136,701 Kg. The number of sacrificial anodes mounted on an underground network pipe with a length of 5562 m is 10 pieces.} }
