The purpose of this study was to see how the effect of increasing CNT (Carbon Nanotube) on MgB2 superconducting wire. Sintering uses a muffle furnace with a temperature of 800 oC for 2 hours. Then the samples are characterized by XRD, there are several phases formed including, MgB2, MgO, C, and Mg. Homogeneous morphological structure seen through SEM testing. From Crayogenic Magnet testing with the addition of CNT 0 wt% the critical temperature (Tc = 0) was formed, and it was seen that the addition of 5% CNT could reduce the critical temperature (Tc), and the addition of 10 wt% CNT showed a decrease in the MgB2 superconductivity.} }
