		abstract={BULOG is a foodstuff in Indonesia that regulates commerce in rice. The
preparation of rice stocks managed by Perum BULOG Center intended to
anticipate the uncertainty of demand, price stability, as well as to keep the
possibility of a failed harvest in the region to the region rice supplier Indonesia.
In this case the BULOG Center still uses one method to do forecasting and face
obstacles while taking keutusan because of the lack of a comparison method.
Therefore, the comparison method is needed to estimsi the inventory stock rice,
Single Exponential Smoothing forecasting method that uses historical data and
perform permulusan (smoothing) to predict future supply will come. In this
study, using the Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) and Mean Absolute Error
(MAPE) Precentage for the smallest error rate count of alpa that later will be
used for the prediction. Single Exponential Smoothing method is applied into
the application in order to facilitate in the calculation of estimation. Application
used as a tool for showing the results of the estimation.}
