		abstract={Mental health is very important but often ignored by everyone. RSJ. Dr. Suharto
Heerdjan is a mental hospital that conducts mental health counseling to increase
awareness about mental health in the community. This counseling is done by
using the instrument of questioning of early detection of psychiatric disorders. But
not every time, the hospital can intervene to the community and do the selection
on a large scale. This study aims to design the early detection application of
psychiatric disorders according to the procedures of the RSJ. Dr. Soeharto
Heerdjan is based on android. Application design is made by using expert system
method that is Forward Chaining the reasoning of a data from the existing facts
to a final decision. Method Software development used is Unified Software
Development Process (USDP) and Application Design using Unified Modeling
Language (UML). The question instrument used for research applications is SelfReporting Questionnaire (SRQ) ? 29. This application was tested using the Black
Box method test. It is expected that the results of this study show that early
detection application of mental disorders can help users to know the mental
condition that is being experienced and provide information about mental
disorders more accurate, efficient and computerized.}
