The condenser is one of the heat exchangers that condenses steam extraction that comes out of the low pressure turbine into water using cooling water taken directly from the sea. The condenser works by moving the heat of steam into the condenser to sea water. The amount of steam entering the condenser is affected by the amount of electricity that a generator or load wants to produce. Every increase in load, the amount of steam entering will increase and increase the work of the condenser. One method of measuring condenser performance is the LMTD and NTU-Effectiveness method. This method compares the actual heat that is cooled with the maximum heat that is able to cool the condenser. The results of the calculation show that the condenser performance is obtained at The calculation results show that the condenser performance is obtained, at 200 MW load with LMTD value, 3.763, Number Transfer of Unit, 1.132, Effectiveness, 0.678. At load 260 MW LMTD value, 4.771, Number Transfer of Unit, 1.114, Effectiveness, 0.672. At a load of 300 MW LMTD value, 5.722, Number Transfer of Unit, 1.105, effectiveness, 0.669. At a load of 400 MW, LMTD value, 6.311, Number Transfer of Unit, 1.274, Effectiveness, 0.72.} }
