		abstract={Selection of a method is very important in the implementation of a construction project, because with the appropriate method of implementation can provide maximum results, especially if reviewed in terms of cost. One of them in the implementation of pier head formwork where there are various methods such as multiplex formwork, fiberglass formwork and knock down formwork. In this research, the cost comparison of multiplex formwork with fiberglass for pier head work is done. In order to calculate the cost of HSP guidelines the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works No.11 / PRT / M / 2013 by using the unit price of materials and wages of Jakarta Capital City 2017, the results of this study obtained cost comparison shows the formwork multiplex Rp. 348.325.055 whereas formwork fiberglass Rp. 379.153.060 with the difference between the cost of Rp. 30.828.005 or the difference of about 8.13%, by knowing the advantages and disadvantages of each type of work can be taken into consideration to determine which type or which method is used as needed.}
