		abstract={The usage of re-registration applications for prospective students at STT-PLN
has been made since 2015 at registrasi.pmb.sttpln.ac.id page. There are any
important data that need security during the re-registration application for the
degree of confidentiality and crucial, such as profile data and financial data.
Systems on re-registration application in STT-PLN has not applied the techniques
of security of the data that uploaded or downloaded by the user so that the data
on re-registration application vulnerable from data tapping and other cyber
crimes. The Writer through this research improves the quality of data security on
the re-registration application at STT-PLN by implements cryptographic
technique uses a combination of RSA (Rivest-Shamir-Adleman) and Running
Vigenere Cipher Key algorithms to reduce the possibility to discover the secret
key to access the data. Results from this research is the data that contained in
the re-registration applications for prospective students at STT-PLN can be gated
so that no misuse of data by parties who are not responsible.}
