SEMEN PADANG}, year={2018}, url={http://156.67.221.169/478/}, abstract={Pt. Semen Padang is in its production process, removing impurity dust, so that it contaminates the area around the location. Impurities also occur in the insulator which causes the impurity layer attached to the surface of the insulator to cause an insulator failure. To determine the level of contamination of the insulator, a leakage current is passed to the impurity layer using a physical isolator model. Based on the leakage current, surface conductivity can be calculated on the impurity layer of the insulator. At a test of 50 g for the dry state impurity layer the leakage current generated 232.4 ?A with the surface conductivity of the impurity layer was 0.2700 ?S so that in this situation included a mild impurity level due to surface conductivity <10 ?S. In the wet state, the volume of water is 25 ml so the leakage current produced is 18.34 mA with the surface conductivity of the impurity layer produced is 21.2919 ?S so this is included in the classification of heavy impurity levels because the surface conductivity is 20-40 ?S. Then the minimum termite isolator distance that must be used is 500 mm} }
