The effect of absorption large reactive power can result low power factor and drop voltage near on the load. It also occurs in the Balaraja 3,4 subsystem that the absorption of reactive power is large by the load in the subsystem and which resulted drop voltage in several substations. One of the substations is Ciledug substation the voltage is 136.22 kV, then it needs to voltage repair for Ciledug Substation by installing pararel capasitor to supply reactive power thereby reducing the absorption of reactive power in the system. The installation of the capasitor will be done by determining the capasitor capacity by trying several capasitor capacities namely 25 MVAR, 50 MVAR, 100 MVAR, and will be done using Digsilent PowerFactory application to help calculate the load flow.} }
