If a blackout due to disturbance occurs then all activities can be stopped as a whole, resulting in very large losses. So that the blackout area is not too wide and can minimize the electrical energy that is not channeled, a tool is needed that can reduce the location of the blackout due to a disturbance. One of the efforts to reduce blackout areas is to use CBO (Circuit breaker Outgoing). The installation of CBO is an effort made to improve the quality of service for the availability of electric power to customers, the CBO has a protection system as a security system from the disturbance, where the connector and power breaker quickly under normal conditions and in conditions of disturbance are the main functions of the CBO. This study aims to determine the determination of the OCR and GFR relay settings and to find out how the relay responds when there is a disturbance in the Circuit breaker Outgoing (CBO) in the Maros Feeder. The analytical methods used in this study are analytical methods and quantitative methods. The results of the calculation of the current value and working time of the OCR relay at the MTU086 substation are the current value of 27.96 A, the working time is 0.271 seconds. The results of the simulation carried out on ETAP show that the recommended value of the relay setting works successfully to secure disturbances to the Maros feeder so that when a disturbance occurs, the number of outages can be minimized.} }
