On this thesis, installation design and Circuit Breaker Outgoing (CBO) selection is examined on Pakis feeder. Pakis feeder is a feeder at which faults often occur on Kebon Jeruk Substation, so that when such thing happens CB on the feeder outgoing side works, resulting in the entire distribution substation on the feeder to go out. In an effort to raise reliability of Pakis feeder, then CBO on SP228 will be installed so that if faults occur on the segment following the SP 228 distribution substation, the CB that opens will be the CBO and customers being supplied by the distribution substation between the sending side and the SP228 distribution substation will not experience outage. From the calculation, capacity of CBO proposed the be installed amounts to 144 MVA and the obtained TMS setting value of Over-current relay (OCR) and Ground Fault Relat (GFR) on the outgoing side are respectively 0,2 and 0,1. Those values verify that when faults occur on the segment following SP228 distribution substation, CBO will work first resulting in the entire existing distribution substation at Pakis feeder to be averted of outage.} }
