However, there is a negative impact from the use of LPG, namely LPG is more flammable in the air. Almost every year there will be fires caused by LPG leaks. The fire occurred due to negligence due to not realizing when an LPG gas leak occurred. One solution is to use an LPG gas leak detector. In this study, we will discuss the manufacture and workings of an LPG gas leak detector. The detection system in this study consists of ESP8266 as a microcontroller that can be connected to the internet, MQ-6 sensor, buzzer, and 12V DC motor. The method used to detect LPG gas leaks is to place the MQ-6 sensor close to the LPG regulator. When the MQ-6 sensor detects an LPG gas leak >= 800, the system will send a notification "AWAS GAS BOCOR" on the Telegram Bot account as a warning that an LPG gas leak has occurred, then the buzzer will activate accompanied by an active 12V DC motor rotating to open the lever.
