		abstract={The use of electricity is indispensable in everyday life. The distribution of electricity itself consists of several stages. Namely generation, transmission, distribution and then customer channels. In the distribution of electricity there are several parameters that must be considered including the use of power, the measured voltage when it is distributed, the use of current and also the measured value of the power faktor or cosphi. Each of these parameters has a value that is said to be good when the electricity distribution process meets the standard. The minimum limit of the power faktor or cosphi is not less than 0.85 which is the stipulation of the 2016 Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources regulation regarding the electricity tariff provided by PT PLN (Persero). When the cosphi value is below the minimum limit, there will be reactive power usage that exceeds the minimum reactive power consumption limit. The occurrence of substandard cosphi in April and May, namely 0.56 and 0.82, so that there was a kVArh fine bill of Rp. 55,607,690 in April and Rp. 3,535,955 in May later for reduced active power usage. So that sales of kWh decreased and were not maximized because a lot of reactive power was used.}
