Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumenasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni reduksi data dan sajian data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran Guru bimbingan konseling dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa kelas VII C SMP Negeri 1 Sangalla Selatan sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik. ABSTRACT Counseling guidance teachers have a role in counseling guidance service activities for students in dealing with problems that make students have difficulty learning. This research aims to analyze the role of guidance and counseling teachers in overcoming the learning difficulties of class VII C students at SMP Negeri 1 Sangalla Selatan. This research was carried out because of the learning difficulties experienced by students. The research method is qualitative natural observation. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction and data presentation. The results of this research indicate that the role of guidance and counseling teachers in overcoming the learning difficulties of class VII C students at SMP Negeri 1 Sangalla Selatan has been implemented well.
