abstract={Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe NHT Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Pokok Kalor Di Kelas VII Semester II SMP Negeri 4 Binjai T.P 2011/2012.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen, sebagai populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Binjai T.P 2011/2012 yang terdiri dari 7 kelas yaitu 215 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan cara cluster random sampling terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk pilihan berganda sebanyak 20 soal dengan 4 pilihan jawaban. Uji normalitas kelas eksperimen dengan Lhitung = 0,1154 Ltabel= 0,1610, dan kelas kontrol dengan Lhitung = 0,1475, Ltabel , Lhitung
