It comes and grows on the cervix especially epitel or outer layer of cervix. Generally, cervix cancer still places the 2nd place after breast cancer and it is estimated that 500,000 women are suffered from cervix cancer each year. Objective: The objective of the study was to identify the correlation between cervix cancer knowledge level and WUS behavior in performing IVA examination at Banguntapan 1 Primary Health Center of Bantul in 2015. Method: The research type was Descriptive Analytical Survey with Cross Sectional approach. The samples were 33 WUS at Banguntapan 1 Primary Health Center of Bantul and were taken using purposive sampling technique. The analysis method used Fisher test which is one of alternative of Chi square test. Findings: The findings show that 33 respondents mostly have enough cervix cancer knowledge with 23 respondents (69,9%). Most respondents never perform IVA examination which is showed by 21 people (63,6%) and small amount of respondents, 12 people (36,3%), have ever performed IVA examination. Based on the data analysis using Fisher, the p significance value is 0,271 with (p) = 0,271 > 0,05. Conclusion: In conclusion, there is no correlation between cervix cancer knowledge level and WUS behavior in performing IVA examination. Suggestion: It is suggested that fertile aged women keep their reproductive health by performing routine IVA examination each year.} }
