		abstract={The Purbalingga Regency is one of the regencies in Central Java, Indonesia, known as the "Industrial Regency" due to its diverse industrial activities, one of the most
famous being the indusry producing wig industry. This research purposes was to understand the supervision of the Department of Environment on the management of wig industry waste and to identify the constraints and solutions that can be implemented in the supervision of the Department of Environment on the management of wig industry waste at PT Royal Korindah as an effort to prevent pollution in the Purbalingga Regency. The type of legal research conducted was empirical law, which focuses on social facts in the environment, and the research was conducted directly on respondents to obtain primary data supported by secondary data consisting of primary and secondary legal materials. The results of the research conducted by the writer can be summarized as follows: the supervision conducted by the Department of Environment of Purbalingga Regency on the wig
industry in Purbalingga Regency, namely PT Royal Korindah is running well enough by doing direct and indirect supervision. The supervision done by the Department of Environment of Purbalingga Regency,however, it not optimal yet since it still has a few obstacles such as limited human resources, limited facilities, the infrasturcture.}
