		abstract={This study aims to analyze the effect of institutional ownership, asset structure, sales growth and profitability. This research was conducted on food and beverage companies for the period 2017-2021. The number of samples used in this study were 256 food and beverage companies with purposive sampling method. This study uses secondary data, data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that institutional ownership, asset structure and sales growth have no effect on debt policy and profitability has no effect on debt policy.
