		abstract={Investment decisions are decisions taken by an investor who invests funds in an investment instrument with the aim of making a profit. Making investment decisions for investors needs to pay attention to clear goals because clear goals will help an investor make the right type of investment. This research aims to examine the influence of risk tolerance, investment motivation and use of social media on investment decision making among Generation Z in Surabaya. The number of respondents from this study was 138 respondents with 123 respondents meeting the criteria. The criteria for this research are domiciled in Surabaya, Generation Z and investing. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The analysis technique used in this research is Partial Least Square (PLS) with the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method. The software used in this research is WarpPLS 8.0. The results of this research explain that risk tolerance has no effect on investment decision making, investment motivation has a positive effect on investment decision making and the use of social media has a positive effect on investment decision making.
