		abstract={Bridges serve to connect locations separated by geographical factors, however degradation over time can shorten their service life. This study used the Bridge Management System (BMS) and Bridge Condition Rating (BCR) methods to assess the extent of damage and remaining service life of the Sungai Liong Bridge. Inspection results demonstrate that the two methods create different remaining service lives which is BMS shows 6 years and BCR shows 7 years. Thus, the two methods offer distinct treatment suggestions, with BMS recommending periodic treatment and BCR recommending rehabilitation.}
