		abstract={SMK Negeri 1 Bengkalis is one of the Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Bengkalis. At this school asset and inventory management still uses bookkeeping methods  which are then inputted into Microsoft Excel. This method makes the school less optimal in managing existing assets and inventory. For this reason, this study aims  to assist asset and inventory management by building an asset information system 
design application by applying the stages of the rational unified process (RUP) system development method from inception, elaboration, construction and transition which results in an asset and inventory management application that is more structured. The final result of usability testing using direct interview techniques demonstrates the application with the end according to expectations so 
that the application can be used.}
