abstract={The information system that runs at SMAN 02 Siak Kecil which in processing attendance data is still using a simple computerized system. Even though it is supported by a computer, it only uses standard office (Microsoft Office Excel and Word) so that it allows a lot of errors in processing attendance data. To assist in solving these problems, it is necessary to have a new attendance information system so that every work involving processing attendance data can be reduced by the error rate. So based on the current problems, this research will build a website-based student attendance system application at SMAN 02 Siak Kecil. This student attendance system has several important features such as adding students, classes, student attendance and recapitulation of student absenteeism. Application testing is done by testing every feature on the system and has been tested on 3 teachers and 1 admin. The results of the trial of this application indicate that the attendance process will be more efficient and can be monitored easily by the teacher.}
