The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, utilizing classroom observations and semi-structured interviews as research instruments. The findings of the study reveal that the English language teachers at SDIT Salsabila Banguntapan consider illustrated English storybooks as an effective tool for enhancing students' vocabulary comprehension. Through classroom observations, it was observed that students exhibit higher levels of participation and enthusiasm in vocabulary learning when utilizing illustrated English storybooks. Interviews with English language teachers also provided deeper insights into the benefits of these storybooks, including increased student motivation and improved vocabulary mastery. However, some teachers also identified challenges in using these storybooks, such as limited resource availability. In conclusion, the results of this research indicate that the use of illustrated English storybooks is effective in improving students' vocabulary knowledge.} }
