With limited vocabulary mastery, students will also have limited understanding in terms of speaking, reading, listening, and writing. Teachers must design lessons tailored to address this challenge. Visual aids like posters with words, definitions, and illustrations enhance learning. This study aims to describe the implementation of poster media in vocabulary learning to enhance the English vocabulary mastery of eighth-grade students at MTs Muhammadiyah 05 Kalikuning. It also examines students' motivation in learning vocabulary and describes the improvement of vocabulary mastery through poster media. This study employed the Classroom Action Research method based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consisted of four steps: action reconnaissance, planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study consisted of two cycles and involved 14 students from class VIII B at MTs Muhammadiyah 05 Kalikuning. Data were collected using tests (pre-test and post-test), observation sheets, and interview guidelines. The study's results indicated that implementing poster media in vocabulary learning for eighth graders had positive effects. The poster increased student motivation by providing visual representations and facilitating their understanding of the learning objectives. In the first cycle, the mean score was 57.8 in the pre-test, and there was a slight improvement in post-test 1 with a mean score of 67.8. A significant improvement occurred in post-test 2, which reached a mean score of 83.5 in cycle II. Overall, the findings suggested that poster media effectively enhanced vocabulary mastery among eighth-grade students.} }
