This research uses stand-up comedy as the object of research. Stand-up is a comedy or humor performance performed individually by a comedian. Comedy has a different point of view by the audience, comedy can be received positively or negatively. the comedian's attitude determines how the comedy will be received, how the comedian presents the attitude in conveying what they feel and also an assessment that can invite laughter or vice versa. Researchers are interested in analyzing attitude choices in stand-up comedy because it is still rare for previous researchers to use stand-up as an object of attitude research. The researcher analyzed the type of evaluation used by Felipe in the stand-up comedy entitled "Bad Decision" and also the attitude choices used by Felipe which included triggers and targets. This study uses a qualitative method to analyze the data, the data used is text data, the data source is a video script taken from the subtitles on Felipe's stand-up comedy video. This research uses the theory of Martin and White (2005) and also uses the SFL approach to help analyze the data. The results of this study found 108 lexical items, and only 2 types of attitude evaluation were found namely; affect and Judgment. in affect found, 3 dis/inclination (feelings involving intention), 18 un/happiness (feelings of sadness or pleasure), 9 in/secure (feelings of security or anxiety), 4 dis/satisfaction (feelings of pleasure towards an achievement). In judgment, 44 normality (how special), 21 capacity (how capable), 4 tenacity (how reliable) and also 4 propriety (how far beyond reproach (ethics)) were found. The result of the attitude choice used by Esparza is twofold: target and trigger, both of which cause the feelings to arise. It is suggested for future research to discuss more broadly using other sources of judgment.} }
