		abstract={One of the factors affecting preschool children is parental knowledge, where many parents do
not understand that a child's gross and fine motor skills need to be trained and developed at any time in
various activities. Parents' knowledge is very beneficial for the child's overall development because
parents can know and recognize delays in the child's development process. The purpose of this study was
to determine the relationship between parents' knowledge about play stimulation and fine motor
development of children aged 3-5 years at Pertiwi Ledug Kindergarten.The method used is Quantitative
with a Cross Sectional approach. The sample in this study were 28 children from 32 populations and 28
parents of these children using a purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were
questionnaires and DDST sheets.The results showed that 25 (89.28%) respondents had good knowledge
with normal fine motor skills, 2 (7.14%) respondents had sufficient knowledge and 1 (3.58%) had less
knowledge. The results of the research analysis obtained p-value = 0.000 < ? = 0.05 with a contingency
value of 0.670 (the strength of the relationship between variables at a strong level). The conclusion of the
study is that there is a relationship between parents' knowledge about play stimulation and fine motor
development of children aged 3-5 years at Pertiwi Ledug Kindergarten. Based on the research above,
parents are expected to pay attention and know about children's motor development.
