The 3-month birth control injection, also known as depo provera, contains the hormone medroxy progesterone acetate, which is only able to prevent pregnancy for three months and requires a visit for a repeat injection every three months. Objective: To analyze the relationship between 3-month use of injectable contraception and weight gain among family planning acceptors at the Baki Community Health Center. Method: This type of research is an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach, and the technique used is proportional random sampling of 97 respondents. The instruments used were a 3-month injectable contraceptive use questionnaire and a questionnaire regarding weight gain with chi square test analysis. Results: Based on the research results, it was found that the majority of 3-month injection users were 97 respondents (100%) who had used it for more than 1 year. the majority of 3-month injection contraceptive acceptors experienced an increase, namely 79 respondents (81.4%). Conclusion: There is a relationship between the use of injectable contraception for 3 months and weight gain among family planning acceptors at the Baki Community Health Center with p value = 0.000.
