		abstract={This study aimed to determine whether the professional orientation can affect role conflict and whether budgetary participation and organizational commitment can affect the relationship between professional orientation and role conflict in private schools in the city of Palembang. The sample in this research is the principal and vice-principal private parts infrastructure under the auspices of the Xavierius Foundation, Mardi Wiyata Foundation, Lembaga Miryam Foundation, and the Foundation of Saint Louis by using purposive sampling technique of sampling. The research sample obtained a total of 32 managers from 26 schools. Questionnaire data were tested using multiple linear regression models using SPSS ver. 13.0. The results of this research are professional orientation has no effect on role conflict and budgetary participation and organizational commitment does not affect the relationship between professional orientation and role conflict.}
