		abstract={Background: Caring is a way of nurse behavior to the patient, where the nurse works to further raise awareness to the patient. Caring is an important part especially in nursing practice. The incidence rate falls in hospitals in the United States between 700,000 and 1000,000 annually. The results showed the importance of prevention of falling patients by improving caring nurses.
Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between caring nurses with prevention of patients falling in the inpatient room RS RK Charitas Palembang.
Method: This research analytic survey research method with cross sectional design. The population in this study were 72 respondents were nurses who served in the inpatient ward of RS RK Charitas Palembang, with sampling technique using stratified random sampling and the sample in this study amounted to 60 respondents.
Results: The results of this study found 51 (85%) who stated the caringness and 9 (15%) stated caring nurses. For nurses in carrying prevention patients fell very well 57 people (95%) and nurses who prevention of the patient either 3 people (5%). Test result of kendall tau ?-value 0,005 < 0,05 hence there is significant relation of caring nurse with prevention of patient falling in hospital ward of RS RK Charitas Palembang. Based on the results of this study, nurses caring are expected to increase, falling patients fall can be reduced by preventing patients from falling.}
