There are two dialysis namely peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis. Hemodialysis is a replacement therapy of kidney function to remove the remnants of metabolism or body toxins. Patients undergoing hemodialysis will change the ego's integrity, one of which will be anxious. Anxiety is an emotional and subjective experience without any specific object so people feel anxious as if something bad is going to happen. Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship of hemodialysis frequency with the anxiety level of patients in the Hemodialysis Room of RK. Charitas Hospital Palembang. Method: This research use analytic survey method with cross sectional approach and the sample consists of 21 respondents by using saturated sampling technique. Results: The results of this study were 3 respondents (14.3%) who performed hemodialysis 1 time a week, while 18 respondents (85.7%) who performed hemodialysis 2 times a week and no respondent who did hemodialysis for 3 times a week. The anxiety level of respondents were 4 (19.0%) mildly anxious, 13 (61.9%) medium anxious and 4 (19.0%) severe anxious. Spearman correlation test results obtained there is a relationship of hemodialysis frequency with anxiety level of patients with p value = 0.001. Suggestion: It is therefore necessary to educate about the benefits, objectives, procedures and consequences that will occur if not done hemodialysis in order to reduce patient anxiety.} }
