		abstract={Background: One effort to reduce the maternal mortality rate is to early recognize danger signs and Birth Preparedness and Complication Readiness (BP-CR) whose involving husbands. Suami Siaga Plus Application is IT-based health services or m-health as an efforts to supports husbands? involvement in recognize pregnancy the dangers signs and signs of childbirth.
Objective: Aimed to identifying the differences in Husbands? Preparation to recognize the danger signs of pregnancy and signs of Primigravida childbirth before and after using Suami Siaga Plus application at Rika Amelia Mother and Child Hospital Palembang.
Method: This Research was a pre-experiment with one group pre- and post-test design. The sampling technique was accidental sampling with 48 participants at Rika Amelia Mother and Child Hospital Palembang. The data were analyzed both univariately, bivariately by the wilcoxon test.
Results: The results showed that after using Suami Siaga Plus the husbands? preaprations to recognize the danger signs of pregnancy increasing from 4.2 % to 87.5 %, and signs of childbirth from 4.2 % to 45.8 %, there were significant differences in the husbands? preparation to recognize the danger signs of pregnancy and signs of childbirth before and after using the Suami Siaga Plus application (p = 0.001).}
